Hire a supercar from Northern Supercar Hire: Damage Deposit

Damage Deposit

A £3000 damage deposit is required before a vehicle is hired.

Payment can be made in cash on the day or as a pre-authorised but not processed transaction on a credit/debit card. Cheque payments must be made a minimum of 14 days before the first day of your hire period.

We reserve the right to increase the deposit prior to hire of vehicle.

The damage deposit is used as:

  1. security bond
  2. payments towards any mechanical damage not covered by our Insurers, eg, tyres, wheels, clutch, gearbox, sustained during the hire period due to any misuse or abuse, excluding normal wear and tear
  3. an insurance excess against any accidental damage or loss caused to the vehicle by a third party or the hirer
  4. additional charges incurred during hire for excess mileage and/or petrol reimbursement charges
  5. any parking tickets or speeding fines etc incurred during hire. We will therefore need to retain £500 of the deposit for up to 28 days after the hire period expires.
